What got you interested in weight training?
I was a ballet dancer up until I went to college. I took up weight training as a way to continue being active and healthy.
What sparked your interested in competing?
I had seen women who competed and really admired their physiques!
Who was the most influential person/group that made you want to weight train?
My very first trainer, Jereff Clady, is the one who really instilled in me a passion for weight training and bodybuilding.
Where do you currently train?
Los Angeles, CA
How long have you been competing?
8 years, I competed for the first time in April 2012
How many competitions have you entered?
11
What was your best placing and where?
I came in first place and received my WNBF Women’s BB Pro Card at the INBF Naturalmania in NY in September 2018.
What is your most memorable moment competing so far?
The highlight of my bodybuilding career was performing my posing routine at the WNBF Monster Mash in 2018.
What is your most surprising moment competing so far?
Standing backstage at the WNBF Monster Mash 2018, about to make my pro debut, I didn’t think I stood a chance of placing. Being called for second place during awards was an absolute dream come true!
What was the best workout advice you received?
Quality over quantity. Always.
What advice about fitness, health, etc. would you like to share with our readers?
When it comes to health and fitness, it all starts in the mind; how you view yourself. Love yourself, and the rest will fall into place.
What do you like most about the WNBF?
The WNBF provides very clear standards for their athletes to follow – from posing, to banned substances and everywhere in between – making them the most reputable natural bodybuilding federation with a very high quality of competitors.
Are you involved in any other parts of the sport? Training people? (Judging? Promoting?, etc.)
While I only coach a handful of competitors in every aspect (training, nutrition, posing, etc.), I am a posing coach to many competitors in all categories. I am also a choreographer for physique competitors who perform individual posing routines.
What are your 2019 competition goals? Long range goals?
I will be taking 2019 off from competing as the one piece of advice I receive from judges is that I need to add size overall. When I do compete again, my goal is to go back to Worlds and place top 5 in Women’s BB!
What does being a WNBF pro mean to you?
To me, being a WNBF pro means that I get the chance to compete against the best pro natural competitors in the world. To say it is an honor is an understatement!

I am a firm believer that every single day is an opportunity to grow and progress as an individual. Through self-reflection, education, experience and being open to new perspectives, we are all able to create a better version of ourselves. Bodybuilding allows me the opportunity to do just that on a daily basis. The entire bodybuilding process is an incredible metaphor for life and has instilled in me a passion to help others discover meaning and value in their own lives and that which they pursue. I will forever be grateful for the purpose it has given my existence and for helping to mold the person I am and continue to become.
