SUBSTANCES DURING THE 2022 INBF/WNBF OUT OF COMPETITION DRUG TESTING PROGRAM
The WNBF has implemented off season testing since 1989. Reputable sports organizations worldwide acknowledge the importance of testing athletes in and out of season. You have to spend the money. Not all natural bodybuilding organizations have an out of competition policy, but the WNBF has and will continue to deliver our promise to athletes that you may and will be tested at any time!
Recently, amateur and professional athletes from 4 countries underwent off season urine drug testing in which they were given little to no notice to meet with WNBF doping officials. One athlete was also subject to a full polygraph examination, and also submitted both blood and urine which will undergo full WADA banned substance testing. We are very proud of 11 athletes who tested negative for all WNBF and WADA banned substances. There was, however, a very disappointing positive urine drug test result for anabolic-androgenic steroids, and 2 banned aromatase inhibitors. This athlete will be receiving a lifetime ban from INBF/WNBF membership privileges. If you try to cheat in the WNBF you WILL get caught!
We are also proud to announce that in 2021, 16 athletes domestically and internationally have been banned from INBF/WNBF competition for failing urine tests and/or polygraph examinations for banned substances including anabolic steroids, growth hormone, illegal peptides, SARM’s products, illegal diuretics, and the intent to use diuretics before a competition.
