Worlds Qualification Rules

United States and Canada Based WNBF Pro’s are required to compete in one (1) WNBF Pro Event in the calendar year prior to applying to the World Championships. There are some exemptions;

1. Overall Pro World Champions are exempt from this rule and can apply directly to Worlds
2. Top 3 in each Pro Category the previous year can apply directly to Worlds
3. International Pros in regions that do not have Pro Events offering their category may apply directly to Worlds. However, they are encouraged to travel to nearby countries to support WNBF Pro shows where possible

All Athletes from the USA must qualify for Worlds- no exceptions. All USA Amateurs are required to place in the Top 3 in an Open or Masters class with 5 or more athletes to apply for Amateur Worlds.

• If there are 5 or more athletes in an Open or Masters class- the Top 3 will qualify for Amatuer Worlds
• If there are 3-4 athletes in a class- only the Winner shall be eligible to apply for Amateur Worlds
• If there are 1-2 athletes in a class- you must find another event to qualify in for Amateur Worlds.

All International Athletes must qualify as per their Affiliate’s qualification procedure.

Athletes from countries without a WNBF Affiliate need not qualify.
