We are very excited to welcome WNBF Monaco to the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation. Co-Presidents and WNBF Professionals Maxime LAURENT and Arthur GLAPA will be leading their newly founded federation and bringing the first 100% fully drug tested natural bodybuilding and physique competition to Monaco in 2027.
A message from the Presidents;
We were inspired by the vision of creating an exemplary WNBF event in Europe that brings together athletes from across the continent. Monaco, with its strategic central location and international appeal, offers a unique opportunity to build a premium stage for natural athletes and elevate the athlete experience. Our primary focus is the development and successful launch of the first official WNBF Monaco show next year. We are focused on building strong organizational foundations, establishing key partnerships, and creating a premium athlete experience aligned with WNBF International standards. We value the fairness and integrity of the WNBF, where all athletes are judged under the same criteria in a fully drug-tested environment and ensuring a level playing field for all. It is also a strong international community, where federation leaders and promoters work together to support athletes and grow natural bodybuilding.
More about the Co-Presidents;
Arthur GLAPA is a WNBF Men’s Physique Pro athlete who has been competing in the WNBF since 2020. He started as an amateur, competing in several shows before earning his WNBF Pro card in 2023. Since turning pro, he has competed at several WNBF Pro shows internationally, including winning the WNBF UAE Super Pro in 2023. He also competed at the WNBF Taiwan Pro, and placed 2nd at the WNBF World Championships in Boston in 2024.
Arthur has also served as a WNBF judge in France, Belgium, Cyprus, Mauritius, and the Netherlands. This dual role has given him a complete understanding of the sport from both the athlete and judging perspectives, as well as valuable insight into how promoters structure and run events, manage athletes and show logistics, and executing overall successful shows. These experiences naturally led him to contribute further to the federation by creating and promoting a new event under the WNBF banner. His goal is to bring this perspective into an organization that prioritizes the athlete experience, fairness in sport, and professionalism at the highest level at all times.
Maxime LAURENT is a dietitian and WNBF Men’s Physique Pro who has been competing or attending WNBF shows since 2022. Maxime has competed in multiple WNBF competitions in France, Mauritius, Netherlands, Poland, UAE, Vietnam, and WNBF Worlds. All of these experiences have been very educational, and LAURENT looks forward to putting things learned to work in 2027. He looks forward to running shows with incredible event production and exceptional athlete experiences for athletes in Monaco.
