Welcome WNBF Ireland

A very warm welcome to WNBF Ireland President Finbarr Murphy, and Vice President Lill Curtis.  WNBF Ireland was established on May 24, 2021 in the town of Wexford, Ireland.

A message from the President;

I am excited to have the opportunity to bring the WNBF to Ireland along with my amazing wife Lill.

We have been devoted to the natural bodybuilding movement in Ireland for several years now and have loved seeing the sport grow worldwide.  Weight training has always been a passion for me as was my former boxing career, but several years ago I really refocused on bodybuilding.  After meeting Tony Martin in 2014 and gaining so much knowledged through him we began intense lifting and the pursuit of a WNBF Pro card.  With Tony’s guidance and training I was able to build my physique swiftly and not through trial and error which is how so many people learn how to bodybuild.  In 2017 I entered amateur World’s in Boston and won my class and WNBF Pro status.  I was proud and honored to have become the 1st Irish Professional in WNBF history.

Lill and I are honored to be newly affiliated with the WNBF and we look forward to working closely with them to continue building natural bodybuilding in our country.  We greatly realize the importance of providing positive stage experiences for all athletes, as well as offering a support network and platform throughout their bodybuilding and physique careers.

Lill and I would like to thank our family and friends for all their support and encouragement regarding this new adventure.  Extra special thanks to Tony Martin for his 100% support in establishing WNBF Ireland, and for his vast knowledge and training techniques that I will pass on to many others in the sport.
