WNBF Code of Ethics
INBF/WNBF officials such as promoters, judges, and support staff hope to be regarded by everyone within the natural bodybuilding community as the premier athletic federation in the World based upon integrity, athletic performance, equity and fairness, and Good Sportsmanship. The WNBF organization works hard to establish and support these principles at all times. While drug testing is paramount in ensuring integrity and fairness in our sport, character building and ethics are embodied in the concept of sportsmanship.
As coaches/trainers, you are an integral part of the development of the natural competitor. Leadership for the athletes comes from all of us, including coaches and trainers. It is our collective responsibility to foster good sportsmanship by teaching, enforcing, advocating and modeling ethical principles: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship.
Our actions and reactions can set the tone for an entire event, region, and the INBF/WNBF as a whole. Actions that are detrimental to the goal of good sportsmanship will not be tolerated. More than being about rules, this issue is about philosophy. We must all adopt an attitude that supports the purity of sport with a sincere commitment to Good Sportsmanship.
